Process the calls.
Drop the weight.

The Mindful Medic offers therapy built specifically for first responders, including paramedics, police, fire, corrections, and dispatch personnel. The awareness that keeps you alive and sharp during a call doesn't just turn off at the end of your shift, and we carry the weight of the job in our minds and bodies long after we clock out. I know from experience that the trauma of individual events, or the cumulative toll of the job can turn into things like chronic hypervigilance, emotional fatigue, burnout and moral injury - but it doesn't have to.

My practice offers evidence-based therapy tailored to the unique demands of first responders and their families, so you can continue to serve while minimizing the very real impact the job can have on your mental and physical health.
